The Former Higuchi Family Residence, was built in a residential area for high class samurais. It was located close to the castle gate and the Sanada Residence, gibving us an idea how important the Higuchi Family was.
The restored residence shows us the housing of the higi-class samurai family in the Matsushiro Domain.
This residence is a Nagano City Cultural Heritage.
