Former Shirai Family Residence Front Gate
Nagaya Gate with a Rest Area Inside the 20-meter-long Gate House

Built in 1846, it was moved to its current location in 2000. A massive gate serving as living quarters for one of the Sanada clan’s vassals, the samurai Shirai, and others.
Today, it is a free rest space where you can get information and also where the Association of Volunteers for Matsushiro Cultural Heritages serves tea.
